I share my happy life with my 2 wonderful dogs and my supportive husband.
I always wanted a "Harley." My wish came true 12 years ago when I set eyes on a little Maltese puppy that I now call Harley. Harley is an avid swimmer.
Brunsy is a 4-ish year old Terrier mix, found as a stray, on the streets near my Alma Mater in New Jersey. Some of my friends call him "Scrappy."
my last 24 years have been both challenging and exciting, but most of all, I have been given the gift of pride and accomplishment to have been able to serve the citizens of our country. From the beginning, the Bureau issued me a Top Secret Clearance, which speaks directly to my trustworthiness and integrity toward you and your pets.
being an FBI Agent was rigorous, demanding and required tremendous dedication and focus. Much of my free time was spent volunteering for a variety of animal causes and services including the following:
Over the years, the companion animals that I have loved, the abused animals I have come across and helped while on the job, and all of the beautiful wild animals I have encountered have touched my heart and played a big role in shaping who I am today. It seemed only natural and inevitable to incorporate my passion for animals into a second career.
I became a Certified Canine Massage Practitioner through The Pet Massage Training and Research Institute in Toledo, Ohio. Certification to be a Canine Massage Practitioner includes the completion of courses in anatomy and physiology, as well as hands-on training in many types of massage strokes, energy patterns, interpreting canine behavior and dog handling methods.
I have performed over 250 massages which has allowed me to gain further experience and insight into massage techniques and working with a variety of dogs and their physical and emotional issues. I have seen real results. I also continue to seek additional training and certifications to improve my skills in topics to include advanced massage techniques, acupressure, Reiki and nutrition. I am certified in Pet CPR and First Aid through PetTech. I am currently a professional member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork, and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
I am fully insured through Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
